Tesla’s talent loss is Rivian, amazon’s gain

There’s been a lot of headlines about layoffs at Tesla. But Elon’s employees don’t go idle once they leave. We analyzed 457 Tesla talent departures over the past 90 days using data from LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
Here are the key takeaways:
  • Tesla’s talent loss is Rivian and Lucid’s gain. Electric vehicle rivals Rivian and Lucid welcomed 90 ex-Tesla employees over the past 90 days.
  • Apple and Amazon swoop in - 102 Tesla expats joined Amazon and Apple.
  • No one wants to work for a big, old car company - Only 8 of the 457 departures we analyzed went to Ford, or GM.
If these talent trends continue it may reshape the competitive landscape of the EV market for years to come.
